Dance performances by girls at a Barnardo's home and by a group performing in the grounds of Michelham Priory in East Sussex, filmed by Stanley Dudkin in Summer 1968.

A group of girls in black leotards and colourful skirts of fabric strips perform a gestural dance on the lawn of a Barnardo's home, possibly Droveway Corner in Hove, which opened as a girl's hostel in 1968 and closed in 1971. Two girls perform ballet solos in pale pink costumes. Another performs a character dance in a headscarf and full black skirt. The group perform a folk dance in flower headdresses and full colourful skirts, skipping in circles. Two of the girls are seen at Michelham Priory. An audience sit in a wide circle to watch dance, performed by men and women in medieval costume.
