Young girls from a Barnardo's home perform several dance routines, including the story of Brer Rabit, in costume for an audience at the Dome Theatre in Brighton, filmed by Stanley Dudkin in around 1967.

Young girls perform a dance in glittery costumes and fairy wings on stage at the Dome. Further dancers are dressed in white rabbit ears. A soloist performs a 1920s flapper routine. Ballet routines follow. A group perform a school trip scenario and a young dancer performs a solo. A large group of girls perform in aprons and bright coloured dresses for the opening scene of Brer Rabbit. Further characters appear, girls dressed as cats, mice and tortoises. The curtains close.
