This short film shows a newlywed couple at their garden reception in Shanghai having their wedding photographs taken with the bridesmaids and pageboys. The group are dressed in co-ordinated western style clothing.

This film opens with the newlyweds Mr And Mrs Simpson leaving the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Shanghai. The group, dressed in full western style wedding clothing, pose for group and individual photographs at the garden reception held at Mrs Nash's residence on Yu Yuen Road. The bride is dressed in a gown of white charmeuse and chiffon velvet embroidered in crystal drops, diamante and pearls and carries a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and rosebuds. The bridesmaids wear period dresses of shot taffeta with silk net, pearl headdresses, and carry posies of tea roses. The other wedding guests, wearing formal attire of fur coats and hats, sip champagne from fluted glasses in the gardens. The film ends sharply on a brief dark shot of Mr Simpson (?) holding a bouquet of flowers posing for the photographer.
