This animated colour live action film, was made by participants in Carousel, an arts organisation by and for people with learning disabilities. The film features a group of young children from Hillside School sitting together eating ice cream in a café – discussing what the ice cream makes them think about. This film contains spoken narrative from the children and subtitles throughout inter-cut with an animated narrative.
Hillside School is a specialist school for pupils aged 4 to 16 years, who have moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. The school is located in the Portslade area of Hove, in the city of Brighton and Hove England.
